Description
The “SG” vacuum tables are made of solid aluminum and machined on both sides. These characteristics ensure both the maximum possible firmness and distortion-free when heating up (thee are no bimetal effect).
This vacuum clamping technology guarantees a clamping force which is around 4 – 5 times higher than using an ordinary vacuum cleaner or a side channel compressor. There is no need for a very powerful vacuum pump because the whole system is sealed up during the production process.
This style table has the vacuum hole(s) approx. 1” in from the edge of the port/fitting. Just encompass the surface vacuum hole inside your gasket vacuum work area. For plenum style tables with holes across the top, see our other square grid type vacuum tables.
Solid aluminum can be used in combination with coolant almost without any restrictions and thus this vacuum table is practically everlasting.
